Physicians

Amanda Pelphrey, PsyD.

Dr. Amanda Pephrey is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Pennsylvania. She completed doctoral training at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical experience includes working with children and adults with Neurobehavioral Disorders at United Cerebral Palsy in New York and most recently young children primarily with Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and other learning and developmental disorders at Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh, Child Development Unit. Dr. Pelphrey provides the following services to individuals with Tourette syndrome: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Habit Reversal Therapy, Educational (IEP) Consultation, and Learning Disability Evaluations.

Dr. Jeffrey A. Fine Associates, P.C.

Dr. Fine is a licensed psychologist in practice since 1979. He earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Northwestern University and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Hahnemann Medical College and hospital. He has had post-doctoral training in several subspecialty areas.

Dr. Fine’s areas of expertise include anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, Tourette’s and related disorders, life transitions, and parent/child problems. He has served on the professional advisory board of the Bucks County Chapter of Children & Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder (C.H.A.D.D.), and has advised the Lower Bucks Tourette’s Syndrome Support Group.

Pamela Simms, PsyD.

Dr. Pamela Simms is a licensed psychologist who specializes in Tourette syndrome, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Psychological Assessment. She is the Vice President of the Pennsylvania Tourette Syndrome Association (PATSA) Board of Directors, and is a volunteer group leader of the PATSA Children Support Group. Dr. Simms has presented workshops on the topic of Tourette syndrome at the PATSA Annual Conference, at a Holy Redeemer Health Systems Physicians In-Service, and at the Growth Opportunity Center as part of their Continuing Education Workshop Series sponsored by The Growth Opportunity Center and The Human Services Center of the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists. Furthermore, Dr. Simms extensively researched Tourette syndrome for her doctoral dissertation titled The Influence of Aerobic Exercise on the Symptom Severity of Tourette Syndrome. She is in private practice with her office located in Ambler, PA.

Charles Weiner, Esq

Charles WeinerCharles Weiner is an attorney in solo practice in Bucks County. He was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 1988. His practice is dedicated to the representation of parents and their children who have special needs in education and school discipline throughout Pennsylvania.  He also represents individuals with disabilities nationwide in obtaining accommodations in high stakes testing (e.g. SAT, LSAT, USMLE, GMAT GRE, MCAT, etc.). Charles has spoken on special education topics before various advocacy and disability support groups as well as teachers and school administrators. He is a graduate of the Partners in Policy Making program (C2P2) of the Institute on Disabilities, Temple University. Charles is currently on the Board of Directors of Congregation Kol Emet and the Pennsylvania Tourette Syndrome Alliance. Charles has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Board of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and served as the Chairperson of the ADL’s Education Committee. Charles has been active in several community organizations such as Newtown’s No Place For Hate Committee, Bucks County Committee for Interracial Harmony, CHADD, the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) and the Diversity Committee in the New Hope Solebury School District.
